West Virginia American Water issues boil-water advisory for Ashford

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 100 customers on Lick Creek Road and in parts of the community of Ashford in Boone County. The advisory follows a water main break.

Customers in that area should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.

West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for approximately 50 customers in the Cabin Creek area.
