CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Local law enforcement and other agencies are staging a mock emergency Wednesday at the University of Charleston. The drill is designed to test the ability of university staff and local agencies to respond to emergencies and uncover possible areas of improvement.
Students and employees have already been informed about the drill. Access to the campus will be limited during the drill and traffic may be diverted on MacCorkle Avenue.
The exact time of the drill is being kept secret, but will happen sometime after 8 a.m.
