CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Raleigh County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for customers in Slab Fork, Hotchkiss, Acord Mountain, Ury, Helen, Amigo and Stotesbury areas following a water main leak.

The Department of Health and Human Resources has issued a boil-water advisory for the Oceana water system following a power outage. A boil-water advisory was also issued for the Rhodell Water Works, following the loss of water pressure from a power outage.

Beckley Water Company has issued a boil-water advisory for the Sophia area -- from Hardee's in Lester Square to the Sophia end of Tams Mountain. The advisory was issued because of a water main break.

Pineville Municipal Water Works has issued a boil-water advisory for the areas of Jackson Hill, Bowman's Bottom and East Pineville, following power outages.

Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
