The Achievers Class: of the Fifth Avenue Church of God in South Charleston: will open its Clothes Closet from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 17. Clothes are free to families and individuals in need. A hot dog and bake sale: will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4606 Kanawha Turnpike, South Charleston. Hot dogs with homemade chili and all the fixings will be offered as well as whole pies and cakes for sale.

First lady Renea Crozier and the Women With Abundant Life,: 1534 Washington St. E., will have a free event for all females titled, "Its Time 2 Fight," at 7 p.m. on Friday. Learn spiritual warfare strategies from Tracie Greene, Pamela Haley, Wanda Hightower, Robin Saunders and Pamela Whitestone. Elk River Church of the Nazarene,: 143 Dutch Road, will have a "Supper with Santa and Rudolph" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the church. Food will be available for $5 and the menu includes hot dogs with all the fixings, chips, drink and brownie. You do not have to purchase food. King of Glory International Ministries,: 302 Delaware Ave., will have "The Prophetic Gathering of the Eagles Summit 2012" Nov. 8-10 at the church. Registration is $20. The schedule includes: Thursday, 7 p.m., Minister Eric Lynch of Kings River Worship Center will speak on Teaching: The Spirit of Prophesy and The Gift of Prophecy. Elder Roslyn Williams will speak on Teaching: The Office of a Prophet. Friday, 7 p.m., KeyBe Oladipo of Transforming Fire Ministries of Pittsburgh, Pa. This service is free and open to the public; and Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Elder Mattie Morgan, Teaching Intercessory Prayer; Elder Kathy Clark, Teaching: Dreams and Vision; and first lady Vanessa White of Living Water Worship Center and Minister Richard Godfrey, Teaching: Prophetic Song (Song of the Lord); Pastor Tina Beatty of King of Glory International Ministries, Teaching Prophetic Protocol. A holiday bazaar: will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at Humphrey's Methodist Church in Sissonville. A craft, food and miscellaneous sale will be held. Food items include barbecues, hot dogs, salads, baked beans and desserts.

Cathedral of Prayer Baptist Church,: 2326 Pennsylvania Ave., will have their Fall Bazaar on Nov. 17 at Cathedral of Prayer's gymnasium. For more information, call 304-346-5903.

Music:

Reach By Faith Ministries: will present the 15th Annual Thanksgiving Gospel Sing and Veterans Day Celebration beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Old Main Building, Old Main Drive, Summersville. Singers are Ron Shamblin, the Cross Bearers Trio, The Pomeroys, Gary and Brenda Perrine, Martha Bell and The Thanksgiving Gospel Choir. The Veterans Museum located inside the Old Main Building will be open to the community. Admission is free, however, a love offering will be received.

The Clendenin Community Chorus: will have its 74th annual performance of Handel's Christmas oratorio, "The Messiah," at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at Clendenin United Methodist Church, 121 Koontz Ave., Clendenin. The Messiah chorus will feature more than 20 vocalists. The chorus is conducted by Dr. H.G. Young III, and accompanied by Betty Greene on piano. The performance will conclude with Handel's most famous individual work, "Hallelujah." A nursery is available and a reception will follow in the church parish hall. The church is wheelchair-accessible on the north side of the church with the elevator door located under the portico. Anyone interested in performing in "The Messiah" can attend rehearsals from 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays, beginning Nov. 4 the church. A gospel sing: featuring The Putnam Family and The Randy White Quartet, will be held at 6 p.m. today at Burke Methodist Church, Procious, located across from Camp Creek Bridge. Pastor is Allen Jones.

Breath of Freshness Apostolic Ministries,: 4917 Midland Drive, will have the Men of Faith in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday for its Building Fund Program.
