CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Distribution of free garbage bags in the city of Charleston will resume from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.Monday under Interstate 64 between Lee Street and Randolph Street, city officials said Friday.
Delayed shipments of both black garbage bags and clear plastic bags for recycling/yard waste have arrived at the city's Refuse Department.
In addition to Monday's make-up day, the city will also distribute the free bags to qualified residents during the last week of the month outside the City Service Center on McFarland Street.
