West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for about 500 residential customers in Riverside, Paint Creek and the Town of Pratt. The specific areas that were included are: the community of Riverside along U.S. 60, the town of Pratt and Crown Hill, Paint Creek Road, Holly Grove Road, Lower Patch Road, Middle Patch Road, Upper Patch Road, Livingston Road and Standard Road.
The water company also lifted a boil-water advisory for about 150 customers in the Spring Valley area in Huntington, and for about 60 customers on James Branch in the Van area of Boone County.
The city of Ronceverte has issued a boil-water advisory for its entire water system.
White Sulphur Springs has issued a boil-water advisory for the following streets after a water main break: Rowan Road, Pine Gap, Old White Trail, Villa Avenue, Rip Van Winkle, Azalea Trail, Abbott Street and Woodland Avenue.
Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
