Financial jamboree: Scouting event could pump $50 million into region's economy

Jack Furst, chairman of the National Scouting Center project, surveys a 10,600-acre site in Fayette County where the Boy Scouts of America hopes to build a high-adventure base and a permanent home for its national Jamboree, an event that attracts up to 40,000 Scouts and 200,000 visitors.
