Camp Fund will send hundreds of kids to camp this summer
Advertiser

The 2012 Gazette Charities Send-A-Child-To-Camp Fund is drawing to a close.

Donations from Gazette readers total more than $34,700 -- which means hundreds of children will be able to experience the joys of a summer camp adventure.

An anonymous $5,000 donation received this week helped push the fund to its current level.

"I want to thank generous Gazette readers who are making a difference in the lives of so many children this summer," said Gazette Publisher Elizabeth Chilton.

All money raised will go to send children to one of the many summer camps sponsored by Gazette Charities. The Gazette covers all administrative costs of the fund.

Be assured that any late donations to the fund will be used to help send even more children to camp.
