CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A disabled man was robbed at his home on Walsh Lane in Mammoth today.

The man hired some men to come to his house and do work today, according to a Metro 911 dispatcher.

"When the male took out his wallet to pay the worker, the man stole his wallet," the dispatcher said. "The worst part is the man was disabled and couldn't use his legs," so he couldn't defend himself.

The men got into a vehicle and fled the scene.

The suspects were last seen leaving Kellys Creek in an older model Chevy pick-up truck painted red and white, with a little amount of blue in it, the dispatcher said.

Both suspects are described as white males in their 20s or 30s. One male is wearing a gray toboggan, a white sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The other is said to be wearing a tan Carhartt jacked, a tan hat and blue jeans

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is in charge of the investigation and is currently searching the area for the suspects.
