Hernshaw road reopened after two-car accident

HERNSHAW, W.Va. -- W.Va. 94 in Hernshaw has reopened after being shut down due to a two-vehicle accident.

The crashed happened shortly before 4 p.m. between a Geo Prism and a Ford Taurus, according to a Metro 911 dispatcher.

Four people were injured in the accident and one person was stuck in one of the vehicles, the dispatcher said. The victims were transported to an area hospital.

The road was shut down for a little more than an hour while emergency crews worked to free the victim from the vehicle.
