12:59 a.m. - Good swerves into the opposing lane of traffic on Mill Creek Road. He tries to strike a police car driving toward him. Police try to use spike strips to stop Good, but he avoids them and then turns north onto W.Va. 114.

1:03 a.m. - Good turns right onto Quick Road.

1:03 a.m. - Bottles are thrown out the window of the vehicle.

1:05 a.m. - A toolbox is thrown out of the window.

Between 1:05 and 1:07 a.m. - Good turns into the gravel lot on Quick Road. Though he has room to escape to the left or right of the police car, Good rams the front of his vehicle into another police vehicle and continues spinning his wheels. A second vehicle also pulls up in front of Jones, preventing him from continuing to push the cruiser back. The man in the first cruiser gets out of the vehicle, in front of Good's car and between the two police vehicles.

1:07 a.m. - Police fire shots at Good. They strike him seven times. One shot hits their fellow police officer Jerry Jones, killing him. A shot is fired from Jones' weapon. Police take cover, believing they are being shot at.

1:08 a.m. - A Charleston Police supervisor requests a medic be dispatched to the scene.

1:09 a.m. - Officers on scene request medics.

1:10 a.m. - Officers on scene report that a fellow officer is down.
