HURRICANE, W.Va. -- A man and woman who were inside a Hurricane mobile home that exploded Monday died Friday afternoon, according to a spokeswoman with Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Trina Clapham and Anthony Hawkins were severely burned after a trailer along Martins Branch Road exploded at about 4:15 p.m. Monday.

State Police believe the explosion could have been caused by methamphetamine production, after firefighters uncovered several materials used to make meth at the scene. There also is a history of drug activity at the home that belongs to Jimmy Ward, according to police.
