WINFIELD, W.Va. -- Police say a Scott Depot man watched an 8-year-old girl performing sexual acts in pornographic videos on his computer.

Richard Wayne Riffle, 25, was arrested Wednesday and charged with five felony counts of distribution of and exhibiting material depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct, according to a criminal complaint filed in Putnam County Magistrate Court.

Riffle, police say, uploaded five videos to his computer in July. One, according to the complaint, depicted an 8-year-old girl performing oral sex on her father.

State Police Cpl. T.M. Divita wrote in the complaint that she received a tip containing an Internet Protocol address leading her to Riffle from the National Center for missing and Exploited Children.

When Divita confronted Riffle, she wrote in the complaint, he admitted to often trading pictures online. Riffle also allegedly admitted to sending and receiving child pornography, the complaint states.

Property was posted and Riffle was released from jail on $25,000 bond.
