CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- In a story published in Saturday's Gazette-Mail, West Virginia University officials declined to comment on Morgantown businessman John Raese's allegations that President James Clements withheld some documents from an attorney general's report that criticized WVU's handling of a media rights deal. This week, WVU said it wanted to respond to Raese and issued the following statement: "WVU cooperated fully with the investigation, producing all related documents, emails, and correspondence available, along with making all individuals available for interviews. Nothing was withheld by WVU's president. If the attorney general did not include certain references in his report, then as he said in his response to the latest letter, "They did not impact the findings."
