TEAYS VALLEY, W.Va. -- A fugitive from Chicago who has been on the run for five years was arrested in Teays Valley Friday by U.S. Marshals.
Patricia L. Summers, 43, was wanted for failure to appear in court on charges of two counts of deceptive practice and one count of child endangerment.
After receiving a tip that Summers could be hiding in West Virginia, Hurricane police spotted Summers' truck at the Red Roof Inn in Teays Valley and asked her for identification. She handed them an Illinois driver's license with her picture but with a fake name, police said.
