John B. Boggs faces a charge of first-degree murder in the shotgun slaying of Danny L. Boggs, 51.
John Boggs was arrested without incident on Tuesday, after State Police and sheriff's deputies found Danny Boggs dead in the Brownsburg Road cabin they shared, according to the Pocahontas Times newspaper.
The shooting took place sometime between mid-morning and early afternoon on Tuesday, following an argument between the two brothers, according to Pocahontas County Prosecuting Attorney Donna M. Price.
Boggs was being held without bond following arraignment before Magistrate Janet Vanover.
The shooting death is being investigated by State Police from the Marlinton detachment and Pocahontas County sheriff's deputies.
