A man who police say crashed his pickup through the door of a liquor store after striking two people with his all-terrain vehicle earlier is being held on $75,000 bond.
BECKLEY, W.Va. -- A man who police say crashed his pickup through the door of a liquor store after striking two people with his all-terrain vehicle earlier is being held on $75,000 bond.
Ralph Edward Honaker, 41, of Surveyor was in Southern Regional Jail on Tuesday.
Charges against him include domestic assault and battery, attempted malicious assault, destruction of property, breaking and entering, petit larceny, fleeing police, obstructing an officer, battery on a police officer and leaving an accident scene.
State Police Capt. S.F. Van Meter says Honaker struck two people with the ATV during a dispute at home Sunday night, then fled. He crashed into CJ's Tobacco and Liquor in Beckley, stole some liquor and returned home.
Van Meter says he then fled from and fought with police.
