CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A former real estate appraiser has been sentenced to one year and six months in federal prison for a fraud conviction.

Federal prosecutors say 50-year-old Mark E. Greenlee of Charleston participated in a multimillion-dollar mortgage scam in a Putnam County subdivision.

Greenlee was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Charleston for aiding and abetting wire fraud.

Last year, Todd and Deborah Joyce of Hurricane received federal prison terms for their roles in the sale of property in the Hurricane subdivision at inflated prices. Earlier this month a Salt Lake City man received more than two years in prison on fraud charges and another Utah man is set to be sentenced for his role in October.
