BECKWITH, W.Va. -- A Fayette County man died Friday after he was partially ejected from his vehicle near Fayetteville.
Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler said Saturday that the driver struck a guardrail, his vehicle went airborne, and the vehicle landed approximately 60 feet over an embankment.
Emergency responders pronounced Michael Lee Bryson dead at the scene. Bryson, 32, of Minden, was driving in the Beckwith area about 8:39 p.m. Friday. Kessler said the driver was apparently not wearing a seatbelt.
Lt. L.A. Crisp of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
