Humane Society offers reward in Lincoln County dog killings
Advertiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Humane Society of the United States is offering a $2,500 reward for information about the killing of six dogs in Lincoln County.

The organization tells media outlets that rope marks were around the neck of one dog, indicating it was dragged.

Hunters found the dogs' bodies earlier this month in a secluded area near Sulphur Springs. Each dog had been shot.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
