Nitro child ID clinic scheduled

NITRO, W.Va. -- Nitro police are hosting a community child identification clinic at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Nitro Police Department.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the department to be fingerprinted and photographed to help identify them in the case of an emergency. The service is also available to the elderly.

Officers will also be available to talk about Nitro's crime watch program.
