SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- Police in Nicholas County said two men led officers on a chase in a stolen pickup truck Saturday.

Johnny Lee Frame, 28, of Summersville, and J.W. Shortridge, 33, of Mount Lookout, were arrested and charged with felony fleeing in a vehicle, according to a news release issued by Nicholas County Sheriff Wetzel Bennett.

Bennett said deputies spotted a truck that had been reported stolen earlier Saturday driving along W.Va. 41 near Persinger at about 5:30 p.m. Deputies, State Police troopers and State Division of Natural Resource officers pursued the truck along Phillips Run Road in Summersville to Muddlety, he said.

Frame and Shortridge were then stopped and arrested without further incident. They were arraigned in Nicholas County Magistrate Court and ordered held in Central Regional Jail in lieu of $200,000 bails each.
