N.C. man pleads guilty to defrauding W.Va. casino
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- A North Carolina man has pleaded guilty to using a counterfeit credit card and photo ID to get obtain cash advances at West Virginia's Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.
U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld said Titus Lavell Lee, 39, of Wilmington, N.C., appeared Thursday before U.S. Magistrate David Joel in Martinsburg.
Lee agreed to repay the Eastern Panhandle casino $27,500 as part of his plea agreement and is free on bond until sentencing for the 2010 scam.
He could get up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
Earlier this week, three others from North Carolina and New York pleaded guilty to similar charges.
