LOGAN, W.Va. -- A Logan County man may have been trying to steal copper wire when he was electrocuted, police say.

WSAZ reports the body of James David Marcum Jr. was found in the woods of rural Logan County Saturday afternoon.

The man had been missing since Tuesday. Police think he was electrocuted, the news station reported.  Troopers are trying to determine if the man was alone when he died.

A Logan County dispatcher referred questions to a trooper who was not available Sunday evening.
