Services set for Lewis woman found after barn fire

ALUM BRIDGE, W.Va. -- Funeral services have been scheduled for a West Virginia woman found dead of a gunshot wound along with her two children after a Lewis County barn fire.

Visitation for Beth Ann Kraus, 32, is set for Saturday at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home, Weston. WBOY-TV said services will follow at 2 p.m.

Kraus' children -- Kaden, 5, and Kiera, 3 -- were buried Nov. 24.

Investigators with the state Fire Marshal's Office say autopsies determined that all three died of gunshot wounds. The bodies were found in the burned-out barn near Alum Bridge on Nov. 12.

Doug Kraus told police he discovered the bodies of his wife and children after working a night shift.

Reed said the cause of the fire is suspicious. The barn didn't have any utilities.

No arrests have been made.
