Prescription pill take-back day planned for UC

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Kanawha County residents with unused and unwanted prescription medication can drop it off Friday at the University of Charleston.

The PharmUC Patient Care Clinic is sponsoring a drug take-back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart Pharmacy located on the first floor of the UC School of Pharmacy.

Non-controlled, over-the-counter medications and pet medications will be accepted for safe disposal. For more information, call 304-357-4362.
