CHARLESTON, W.Va.-- Charleston police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint early this morning.

Lt. Bobby Eggleton of the Charleston Police Department said the victim was at a parking garage on Capitol Street at about 3 a.m. when he was approached by two black men wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Eggleton said one of the men allegedly pulled a revolver on the victim, and the two suspects made off with $200.

Police are waiting on surveillance footage to try to help identify the men. Eggleton said both men appeared to be in their early 20s, were less than 6 feet tall and had medium builds. One man was wearing a black and red sweatshirt and the other had an all black sweatshirt. Eggleton said one of the men was wearing a mask.

The parking garage is for employees of the state Department of Health and Human Resources who work in the former Diamond department store building.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Charleston Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 304-348-6480.
