Terreque Alj Gray, 23, of Oak Hill, is being held in the Southern Regional Jail pending an arraignment hearing in Fayette Circuit Court Friday morning.
At about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oak Hill Police Department officers responded to a 911 call in regard to a shooting at the corner of Mahan Street and Highlawn Avenue, according to a news release.
Officers found a man in serious condition from a gunshot wound. Paramedics took him to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim's name has not been released.
