Woman stabbed on East End

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police are on the site of a stabbing on the city's East End.

A Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said a woman was stabbed several times at about 8:55 p.m. near Jackson and Thompson streets. The dispatcher said police are on the scene and have a suspect in custody.
