Octavia "Tayvie" Smoot, 16, of Madison was last seen Jan. 25 in the company of her boyfriend, Richie Dangott, 23, of Turtle Creek. Dangott is wanted on a probation violation charge, according to Boone County Sheriff Randall White.
Smoot's family and friends began a Facebook group last week to spread the word of her disappearance.
Madison police found Smoot early today, according to a police department spokeswoman. The girl was unharmed.
