Garin Michael Kincaid, 22, of Charleston, was pulled over for a burned-out taillight on MacCorkle Avenue in South Charleston on Friday, according to Cpl. Brian Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Deputy Paul Hodge soon discovered Kincaid's license had been revoked for aggravated DUI, and also allegedly noticed a small bag containing a white, powdery substance. Humphreys said the powder tested positive for methamphetamine.
Kincaid was charged with operating a vehicle with faulty equipment, driving on a revoked license and simple possession of methamphetamine. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
