CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 at Oakwood Road have reopened after a tractor-trailer carrying logs rolled over at about 3:30 a.m.

Logs spilled across the road and fell off the interstate onto the railroad tracks below the Oakwood Road ramp, according to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers.

No one was injured in the accident.

Traffic was being diverted off the Oakwood Road exit. The Montrose Drive and Kanawha Turnpike eastbound entrance ramps were also shut down due to heavy traffic, dispatchers said.

Traffic also backed up on alternate routes as early morning commuters tried to get to work.
