MONTGOMERY, W.Va. -- A garage caught fire at a house located at the bottom of Deep Water Mountain Road on Monday night, causing an explosion, according to Fayette County 911 dispatchers.

The call came in around 8:20 p.m. and by 8:45 p.m. firefighters had the blaze under control, dispatchers said.

A car was in the garage when the fire started, which might have caused the explosion, dispatchers said. No injuries were reported.
