Kenova woman charged with embezzling from PSD

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- A former employee has been charged with embezzling more than $37,000 from the Northern Wayne Public Service District.

Media outlets report that a federal grand jury indicted 28-year-old Tiffani Michelle Petry on 22 embezzlement counts on Wednesday.

She is accused of embezzling the money between July 2011 and July 2012.

Petry is scheduled to stand trial in May.
