CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County man accused of threatening a school is scheduled to stand trial in June.
Russell Elswick is charged with making terroristic threats and having a deadly weapon on school property.
The 52-year-old Clendenin resident pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday. Kanawha County Circuit Court Judge Carrie Webster scheduled Elswick's trial for June 24.
Kanawha County sheriff's deputies arrested Elswick on Nov. 14, 2012, at Herbert Hoover High School after employees reported seeing a man brandishing a shotgun.
