MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- A Morgantown woman who had two children in the car when she crashed over an embankment and into a fence is in jail on five misdemeanor charges stemming from what witnesses called a hit-and-run.
Twenty-eight-year-old Leslie Jean Cutright was in the North Central Regional Jail on $5,100 bond Tuesday.
The Dominion Post says a 1-year-old and 6-year-old were in the car at the time of the crash.
State Police say Cutright's blood-alcohol level was 0.257 percent, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08.
Cutright is charged with two counts of drunken driving with child endangerment, two counts of destruction of property and one count of driving on a suspended or revoked license.
Police say she failed three sobriety tests.
