CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Law enforcement in Parkersburg arrested four people on drug charges and confiscated two ounces of cocaine, a quarter ounce of heroin and 10 ounces of marijuana early Sunday morning.
After a traffic stop by State Police on Saturday evening, a Wood County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit flagged the car and officers found cocaine, crack cocaine and pills.
Bonnie Lynn Myers, 54, and Jack Lee Poland, 45, both of Parkersburg, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession charges.
Early Sunday morning, police executed a search warrant on Myers' home, and found 10 ounces of marijuana. Myers' misdemeanor charge was updated to a felony charge.
Also Sunday morning, police executed an unrelated search warrant on room 210 of the Comfort Inn in Parkersburg.
They found about two ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine, a quarter ounce of heroin and more than $3,000 in cash.
Toby Jermaine Person, 37, and Amanda Sue White, 23, both of Columbus, Ohio, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute, a felony.Myers, Person and White are all being held in the Wood County Holding Center, awaiting arraignment. Poland was released on a citation.
