CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A woman missing since Aug. 7 was discovered safe near Twilight in Boone County on Monday morning, according to a State Police dispatcher.
The woman, identified in an incident report as Charlene Hankins, suffered from exposure and dehydration and was transported to Boone Memorial Hospital.
"She was found this morning by a gentleman on a four-wheeler," the dispatcher said.
State Trooper J.G. Honaker wrote the incident report.
According to media reports, the woman had last been seen near Chief Logan State Park on Aug. 7 when she went missing.
She was in fair condition at Boone Memorial Monday night, according to a hospital employee.
