CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Charleston man was taken to the emergency room early Sunday morning after being stabbed in a bar brawl at the Sky Lounge on Capitol Street, Charleston Police said.
Sebastian Williams, 26, of Charleston, was at CAMC General Hospital at 3:15 Sunday morning when police spoke with him, Chief of Detectives Steve Cooper said.
Williams told officers he had been involved in a fight that had broken out inside the bar. Williams said he was knocked over by the crowd and when he got up, he said he realized he was bleeding, Cooper said. Williams suffered a stab wound in the back and is in stable condition, Cooper said.
Williams doesn't know who stabbed him, Cooper said.
Charleston Police and the Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration are investigating the incident.
