DUNBAR, W.Va. -- One person was injured after being hit by a car in Dunbar Monday morning.
The accident happened about 7:40 a.m. on 22nd Street, according to a Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher.
Dunbar Police Chief Earl Whittington said David Kelly, 55, of Dunbar, was riding a bike when he was hit at an intersection by a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro driven by John Hughes, 18, of Nitro. Whittington said the windows of Hughes' car were fogged and he apparently didn't see the cyclist.
Kelly was treated and released from Thomas Memorial Hospital. Whittington said Hughes was cited for reckless driving.
