St. Albans, W.Va. -- State Police have identified a woman who was struck and killed Thursday night while trying to walk across U.S. 60 near St. Albans.
Angela Oxley, 34, of St. Albans, was struck by a 2006 Ford F-150 near the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue Southwest and Austin Drive at about 7:45 p.m., State Police Sgt. Michael Baylous said.
Oxley was with her 17-year-old daughter, who was pulling a wagon holding Oxley's infant daughter, Baylous said. The daughters were not injured.The investigation is ongoing, but Oxley's death appears to have been an accident, Baylous said. No charges are pending against the truck's driver. Trooper J.A. Roach is leading the investigation, he said.
