CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police have identified a St. Albans woman who was found dead in her home on Sunday.
Capt. James Agee of the St. Albans Police Department said neighbors went to the Jefferson Avenue home of Nancy Burdette Lynch, 66, because they hadn't heard from her. Lynch was found dead.
Agee said the exact cause and time of death cannot be determined. Burdette's body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
Agee said Burdette's death is being treated as suspicious.
In December, a Kanawha County grand jury indicted Lynch on drug charges.
