GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Glenville Mayor Tashua Allman-Duval says she won't seek a third term.
Allman-Duval was the state's youngest female mayor when she was first elected in 200 as a write-in candidate at the age of 21. She ran unopposed for a second two-year term.
Now 25, Allman-Duval tells the Parkersburg News and Sentinel that she's ready to start a new chapter in her life.
Her husband, Karl Duval, works in Walker in Wood County. Allman-Duval says they've discussed moving. She says if she won a third term, she would want to complete it.
Although Allman-Duval withdrew her name from consideration, she remains on the ballot for the June 11 election.
