CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Both Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin are begging the Obama administration to rush additional federal aid to help West Virginia recover from the Hurricane Sandy blizzard. Since they've spent years denouncing Obama for alleged federal interference, you'd think they'd be at least slightly embarrassed in their new posture.

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney told Ohio voters that Chrysler will move all Jeep manufacturing to China because of Obama administration policies. Chrysler chiefs angrily denied it, saying Jeep production in America has tripled, adding 11,000 jobs, since President Obama took office. Thank heaven, all this ugly political blasting and counter-blasting will fade in just one more day.
