Letters, Nov. 12, 2012: Veteran support; Communcation overload
Some stations still not supporting veterans
Editor:
I thank the Gazette for publishing my letter concerning lack of support for our veterans. I also thank WOWK TV 13 news and anchor Don Hammond for covering some of the veterans stories that I told them about.
On other hand I am very disappointed in WCHS-TV 8 , WVAH Fox 11 and WSAZ TV 3 for how they have treated me and refused to cover any story that I have suggested concerning veterans, especially the ones I have assisted and who have fallen through the cracks and are forgotten.
There was a Korean War veteran who endured severe elder abuse. His daughter contacted me for help. For three months and very long hours I provided advocacy and assistance to this veteran and had gotten him to safe haven.
Some fail to recognize that the the Veteran's Connection, Inc. is a West Virginia business that has a tax identification number, incorporated statewide, has a business license and are providing advocacy and assistance to any veterans and their families that are in need globally.

Such a thing as too much communcation

We thought we got rid of these telephone party line systems, but now we have cellphones and computers and communication relay systems and the busy body system is worse than ever.
