We keep having problems with cattle doing us damage for too many years. Cattle keep being run along secondary roads and onto other people's property, tromping big holes in properties and eating up vegetation. They keep eating our wild game food plots. We can't even have salt or deer corn without cattle destroying it. They get manure all over our vehicles, including our ATV and side by side. They rub against our metal buildings and put hair and manure on them, in some cases even denting the tin of our buildings. If people can't afford to build fences, they should not be able to raise cattle.

Abortion doesn't prevent pregnancy
I hail as a real public service the Feb. 19 column by Ed Rabel, which listed in order of effectiveness methods to stop teenage pregnancy. However, he erred in listing abortion first. Abortion is a method of terminating the results of pregnancy, not in preventing it.

What draws young to 'Buckwild' TV show?
I do not understand why bright young people of West Virginia want to be a part of "Buckwild." It certainly gets a bad picture for our state! It is for money!
