Evolution evidence cannot be explained
Perry Mann's article "Challenging Truths" in the Sunday Gazette-Mail was a stretch on the truth itself. He said "the evidence for evolution is so strong and complete it is considered a fact by the majority of the scientific community."
Physics currently does not have a complete theory, much less a law, that unifies all the fundamental forces of nature at the moment of creation. With respect to the origins of the universe, science tells us that a quantum vacuum must have been the source of the laws of nature. How that emerged is unknown.
Physics cannot explain the creation of the most fundamental laws. Explaining these is where one moves from physics to metaphysics. Mann's metaphysical explanation I am not sure of, but mine is a Creator who lives outside of time.
I also believe the Creator's Word. For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.

A great reunion over the phone
I just ended a conversation by phone with Robert E. Lee IV. He was sent the article that appeared in the May 5 Sunday Gazette-Mail and got the office phone number and called me. I was in the Courthouse, but he left his number and I called him. He said he remembered the English class we attended at W&L in 1946.
He said he had spent a lot of time in California but was now living in Virginia. We recalled many things and of course had to end our reunion.
He said he loved the article, but wanted me to know that he never became an agent for Robert E. Lee Insurance Co. Inc.
Great moment for an aged fellow. Thanks for making it happen.
