Everyone should be armed at all times
The Legislature needs to return to special session to ensure that all real Americans can be assured of their Second Amendment rights. I'm talking about the right of all true patriots to sit fully armed with AK-47s with 30-round clips in the balcony at both houses of the West Virginia Legislature during the session. I realize that some people dislike the government, and you guys are the government, but legislators would also be armed to the teeth and they could also wear body armor and neato hats.
I also think we the people should be fully armed when we board any airplane in the USA. Nobody should be without their weapon of choice at 30,000 feet. I'm sure everyone on board would feel a heightened sense of security.
Anyone who won't support these simple laws is probably a secret communist who hates America or they must be concealing a hidden love for President Obama. You guys need to get down to business, stand your ground, and pass these laws right now. I mean, shoot, what could go wrong?
Should women having abortions not be safe?
There is no war on women by the Republican Party, as Ed Rabel contends in his op-ed published in your newspaper. This is more liberal rhetoric to divert the attention off of the liberal policies that have taken the United States of America down the "slippery slope."
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is well within the scope of his office to ensure the safety of women who go to an abortion clinic for their medical services. We have car inspections, barbershop inspections, restaurant inspections, beauty salon inspections etc. to make sure the public is safe. We should be even more concerned that the life of a woman is protected and safe. Life is precious.
If there was ever a war on women, it is the one conducted by the Democrat party. They believe it is appropriate to deny the right to life of an unborn baby girl. Let's not forget the sexual abuse inflicted on women by former President Bill Clinton while he was president and a married man. The sex scandal of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, who is also a married man, continues to this day, as he runs for mayor of New York City and the allegations of sexual harassment of the mayor of San Diego are frightening.
