Why don't you publish the photo of the agent who was killed; he's the person who put down his life for others! The media is partially to blame for all the weirdos who get gun happy! You know that was true of the surviving Boston bomber.
The 'Young People Giving Back' story should have been above the fold, they deserve recognition. These boys will be a role model for others and hopefully replace bullying! I think the media is part of the problem! Get the priorities straight.
We do not want a private Postal Service
Your Potpourri section said England is thinking of turning it postal service over to private hands, and perhaps America should do the same thing. This is a terrible idea. That is exactly what Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Cal., wants to do so that he and other politicians can enrich their wealthy friends.
Issa and Republicans previously passed a bill forcing the Postal Service to pay 75 years of pension payments in 10 years. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is trying to repeal that act, to give the Postal Service a better chance to put finances in some kind of order.
Please, do not suggest that we put the mail in private hands. If this were done, it would mean that people, who depend on the U.S. mail for medicine, parcels, etc., would suffer undue hardships because of limited services.
