It's time for agonizing reappraisal and change.
The people of the U.S., Iran and Israel deserve negotiations and peace. The people of our planet, with global warming, have big problems to attend to.
Drivers need to back off
I wonder if the word tailgating is ever used or explained to young people or truck drivers. I live in St. Albans and at age 80 shouldn't even be driving, but I obey the speed limits and stay away from the highways as much as possible, just to stay out of the way of impatient drivers.
Would it not be a public service to inform your readers about this strange word and also have our beloved enforcers of speed limits post the rules of safety regarding this abused practice by all drivers?
I might remind my fellow drivers that holding down the speed to 15 mph on Lincoln Avenue is difficult, but not impossible.
Another topic, but much more enjoyable is a big thank you to Golden Corral's annual feed to the veterans of the valley for this wonderful practice. I broke bread with friends and comrades from 30 to 60 years ago.
